How to sort an estate sale room by room
Walk one room at a time. Mark every object with a Post-it: keep, donate, trash, or sell. Sell pieces get a QR sticker from our pack, an Amazon pack, or a sheet you print. Photograph each sell piece in place, then bind the sticker when the lot is named. Do not move the object after the photo.
Why start with rooms instead of a pile?
A hallway pile mixes keep with sell and loses provenance. Clockwise from the door, including closets, is the same walk estate companies already teach. House of Bid does not replace that walk. It gives the yellow pieces a code.
What happens after the stickers are on?
Photograph in place. List the sale on Sell or bind from crew capture. A scan of /t/code opens the lot once it is bound. Unbound codes tell the scanner the piece is not in the catalog yet.

Do keep and donate pieces get QR codes?
- No. Only yellow sell pieces. Keep, donate, and trash stay on Post-its so they never become lots by accident.
Where do I get the stickers?
- Print a sheet at /kit/print, email to order our pack, or buy the Amazon listing when it is live.
