House of Bid
Post-its and QR stickers on an estate sale
Estate crews already sort with colored notes. House of Bid keeps that: yellow means sell, pink keep, green donate, blue trash. A sell note is not a catalog lot. Put a QR sticker on each sell piece so a scan opens the tag URL and binds the photographed object. Buy our pack, buy that pack on Amazon when the listing is live, or print the QR sheet.
Why keep Post-its if we have stickers?
Post-its are the decision. Stickers are the catalog hook. Mixing them — QR on a donate lamp — puts trash in the timed sale. Four colors on the note, one sticker on yellow only.
What does the QR open?
https://houseofbid.com/t/CODE on the live domain, or the same path on staging. Bound codes redirect to the lot. Unbound codes explain that intake has not linked them yet. Warehouse crew sheets still use the crew resolver; family kits use the public tag.
Questions
Can I use a different color key?
- Yes, if the whole crew agrees. Publish the legend on the kit card so Saturday help does not invent a fifth meaning.
